Father Eugene O’ Neill, an Accord Priest Director in the Diocese of Down and Connor, welcomed engaged couple, Michael Mc Menamy and Clare Mc Crudden to Saint Patrick’s Church, Belfast for a special Saint Valentine’s Blessing, in preparation for their marriage on 9 April.
Michael and Clare met 10 years ago when they both worked for the same company. Michael proposed on their 9th anniversary and the couple were due to get married in Italy, last year but due to Covid-19 had to change their plans and are now looking forward to marrying at home, in Belfast.
They completed the Accord Marriage Preparation Programme in October and said it was enjoyable and a great learning experience. They said the would recommend all couples preparing to marry, to avail of this opportunity’. The happy couple are now focussed on their wedding and hope to get away somewhere nice for their honeymoon.
